Hello our names are Brandon & Kari, we want to thank you so much for taking the time to look at our adoption on-line profile to learn more about our lives. We want you to know that we admire your strength, maturity and selflessness for your decision in choosing life for you child. We pray that God will give you the strength & peace on this road that lies ahead of you.
Our decision to adopt was an easy one; we started talking about adoption throughout our years of dating. We both felt a calling from God to someday pursue the avenue of adoption as a means of welcoming children into our family. We started dating our junior year of high school and became engaged 4 1/2 years later. After a 10 month engagement we were married on March 2, 2007 in our hometown church. We made a decision that once we were married we would wait until we were financially stable to bring a child into our family. After finding out that we both had fertility problems we realized that this was God's nudge to let us know it was time to pursue adoption. Needless to say we started the adoption process right away because we always knew this was something we felt called to do. After a 14 month adoption process we welcomed our son, Westyn into our family. Westyn has added so much joy, love and laughter into our lives and turned us from a "couple" into a "family" which we had so longed for. Now Westyn is 2 years old and we look forward to the day that we can welcome another child into our family to create a lifelong playmate for him.
We feel so blessed to be able to pursue adoption as a means of creating our family. We know that this is a call from God and we are willing & ready to bring another child into our family through adoption. If we have the honor of parenting your child we promise to provide a loving & secure home where God is the center of everything that we do. We also want you to know that we plan on telling our child daily that they are a gift from God and that they have a wonderful Birthmother who loves them very much. We know that there are many ways we can keep connected with you and would be willing to discuss the many different levels of openness in the future if you so chose.
